Designed for the second annual “Beyond Fashion” show, a tribute through fashion to the Vignelli’s design legacy, these three looks were inspired by the rich Vignelli archive at Rochester Institute of Technology.

Drawing from the Vignelli”s commitment to elegant designs that imagine a future of beautiful form and everyday functionality, I created pieces that are a synthesized with a personal interest in the intersection of the technical and formal. Forms are stripped of details while the contrast of lines and shapes becomes prominent, leading the eye around the body.
